Saara Saturo

Saara is a certified massage therapist who graduated from the Helsinki Massage Academy in 2020 and has since worked as a wellness entrepreneur and massage therapist in Hakaniemi in her own studio (Kipekee Wellbeing).
Saara has deepened her knowledge in various body therapy areas and treatment methods, and she utilizes all her knowledge from different areas in her treatments. These include treating temporomandibular disorders, maternity massages, fascia and trigger point treatments, kinesiology taping, and acupuncture (WMA).
In addition to massage, Saara is a yoga instructor and former dance teacher, and in her treatments, she utilizes the understanding of the body's functionality and the movement that is good for it.
Saara is particularly interested in the mind-body connection and the importance of balance and recovery for physical and mental well-being. She is constantly self-studying the subject and has become very familiar with the functioning of the nervous system and how physical treatments can ease overstimulation and de-stress.
In her free time, Saara is still actively dancing, enjoys being outdoors and doing artistic things. She also spends a lot of time with her family in Kulosaari, and Saara can often be found at the playgrounds, school yard, in the church forest, or on the edge of Kulps football field.
Suvi Piipponen

Suvi graduated from the Finnish Institute of Sports Massage (SUHO) in 2021 as a trained masseuse and sports masseuse, who has solid expertise in working with athletes, including internships with the HJK football and HIFK ice hockey teams.
In addition to massage, Suvi has expertise in various sports and kinesiology taping, guidance of rehabilitative and sport-supportive exercises, individual coaching and nutritional advice. Suvi has also received further training as a masseter massage therapist.
In addition to massage, Suvi holds a Bachelor of Sports Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the United States, as well as a degree in sports nutrition and the basics of health medicine from the University of Eastern Finland.
Suvi's own sports background is in soccer at the women's league level in Finland and at the NCAA Div. III college level in the United States. Today, her favorite sports include gym and jogging, and occasionally still playing soccer.
For Suvi, sports, exercise and overall well-being have always been an important part of her life. Through her work as a masseuse, she wants to encourage people to move and take good care of themselves.
P.S. Suvi is also a dog masseuse who makes home visits in the Kulosaari area. In the picture is Suvi's own furry friend Milos.
Laura Hyrkäs

Laura is a licenced massage therapist who graduated from Itä-Helsinki Massage School in 2025. She also holds an internationally recognized CIBTAC-certified massage qualification from abroad, as well as training in hot stone massage.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Laura worked in the hospitality field as a Bachelor of Hospitality Management and spent many years in office work. Because of this, tension in the neck, shoulders, and thoracic spine is something she knows very well—both from personal experience and through her clients.

Holistic wellbeing has been an important part of Laura’s life since 2018, when she first discovered yoga. Since then, yoga has stayed with her in different forms, bringing balance and presence into her everyday life.

For Laura, it is especially important to meet each client as an individual. Creating a safe and welcoming space, along with body positivity, are at the heart of her work—every body deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and without assumptions.

Laura is passionate about continuous learning and actively develops her skills through further education. She has mastered already hot stone masage and temoromandibular massage techniques and is currently studying safe aromatherapy and how scent can support both physical and mental wellbeing.

Wellbeing is also a big part of her free time—Laura enjoys dancing, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature.
Our services
You can find more detailed descriptions of massage treatments in our appointment calendar. Our services and areas of expertise include the following treatment methods.
CLASSIC MASSAGE
Classical massage is a body care method that aims to relax the body and release tension. Massage stimulates blood circulation and reduces muscle tension. At the same time, it also gives the mind the opportunity to relax and rest.
FASCIAL TREATEMENTS
The tightness of our body's muscle membrane structures, fascia, affects the function of the entire body from head to toe. By opening large fascias, for example in the legs and lower back, we can relieve many types of pain in the body.
TAPING
Various types of taping can be used to treat physical pain conditions. The need for treatment determines whether harder sports tapes or more flexible kinesiology tapes are used. Tapes can be used to support stretched or otherwise rehabilitated joints (knee, ankle), rehabilitate stress injuries (wrist, elbow, shoulder), reduce swelling (legs, hands), seek posture correction (upper back, shoulders), affect superficial fascia and thus relax painful areas.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage is an important part of an athlete's body care. Sports massage can help the body recover and thus prepare for maximum performance. Regular massage also prevents stress injuries and helps to rehabilitate from accidents.
ARTICULAR MOBILISATION
For pain felt in various joints (e.g. rotator cuff problems and knee osteoarthritis), it is also worth turning to a massage therapist. Joint function can be promoted with massage, which stretches the tendons and gets fluids moving.
MATERNITY MASSAGES
You can (and should) come for massage therapy throughout the different stages of pregnancy and beyond. Massage can help with various ailments brought on by a changing body and help you relax. For example, swelling of the limbs, pain in the lower back and pelvic area, neck tightness, and masticatory muscle problems are typical ailments both during pregnancy and after childbirth when the body is still recovering. After childbirth, you are welcome to come to the reception either with or without the baby, whichever is most comfortable for you.
TEMPOROMANDIBULAR MASSAGE
Temporomandibular disorders are a problem of our time. A natural stress reaction in the body, which for one reason or another remains on and begins to manifest itself as tension in the jaw and face, but also as recurring headaches, migraines and neck and shoulder tension. Massage can help and relieve these.
ACUPUNCTURE (WMA)
Acupuncture can treat a variety of physical pain conditions. Acupuncture is a proven effective treatment for a variety of ailments and over-stimulation of the body. We practice acupuncture from a Western Medical Perspective (WMA), which means we are NOT experts in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). (If you are looking for an acupuncturist who is knowledgeable in Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will be happy to refer you).
RELAXATION TREATMENTS
Sometimes you just need to be. Massage is a great place to come and get your own peaceful moment of relaxation. You can and should come for a massage even if you don't hurt anywhere. Especially relaxing head massages or super long full body massages are perfect relaxation treatments, where the body relaxes and the mind rests.
